Our customers are our lifeline. They breathe life into our process, and in return, we hope to make their job easier. Through great customer service and an array of knowledge, Bruce…is able to better assist our customers in a way not many can. Together they hold over 30 years of experience and a passion for what they do. We spoke with each of them about their experience through the years. They now service two locations, United Recycling & Container located in Snohomish, and United Recycling Seattle, located in the industrial zone downtown Seattle.
How long have you worked for the company?
- 12 years and going strong!
What does customer service mean to you?
- Customer service is about going above and beyond for every customer. Each project is different, each has their own needs. It is my job to make sure those needs are met. If this means we have to go up logging roads in the mountains, in the middle of nowhere, just to drop a container, then that is what we do. Building real relationships with customers is the key to success.
What changes have you seen since you started?
- I have seen a lot of change. Change is good. Because of change, we were able to find new end markets for different materials within the waste stream. It is exciting to find a new use for materials, it benefits everyone. I have seen this company grow from three trucks to over 20 and open a new location in Seattle. The need for recycling became great, and we changed and grew in order to meet those needs.
What is something you would tell a person who is just starting their project?
- Call us! We work hard to make a project efficient. Our staff is friendly and provides excellent service. We are also ways cheaper than our competitors.
