Container Sizes

Choosing the right roll off container size can save you time and money

You cannot get far into planning your construction and demolition project without having to plan for a container. As soon as you start to do anything, there has to be a place for the material to go. Finding a company to get a container from is just the beginning. Deciding the perfect size can be difficult. Spending the time trying to get the perfect roll off can quickly become a time and energy suck. We all know that time is valuable.

Getting the right container not only takes up time, it could potentially cost you money.  Choosing one that is too small could mean more trucking trips. Choosing a one too big will take up valuable space, which is usually limited at construction sites. The process is very ‘Goldilocks’, finding something that is just right.

Construction Containers

Beyond simply finding the right recycling services, there are the King County Rules to consider. Their new rules do not allow construction and demolition material to go a landfill. The idea is that the most material possible is getting recycled. This includes material such as:

  • Wood
  • Drywall
  • Cardboard
  • Metal
  • Concrete
  • Asphalt Paving
  • Roofing

You will need to make sure you are recycling as much material as possible if your project is located in King County. Using a company that will make sure the material is recycled is important when following these regulations.
